European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The retailer Cora announced the opening of a new store by the end of 2009 in Bucharest, hiring about 800 workers. In 2007, Cora hypermarkets reported a turnover of 406 million euro. And in 2008, the company employed 2,793 workers in Romania between three units.
