Peltor are moving their manufacturing of hearing protectors from Sweden to Poland. The offshoring resulted in 70 dismissals in Värnamo: 60 employees from the production and 10 officals. This was announced already 18th March. After negotiations 53 dismissals were enacted. This was announced 17th August. The recession has been a driving force to the delocalisation but has not been crucial according to the company. Peltor is a world leader in the field of communication equipment and head and face protectors.
