Mondadori, one of the main Italian publisher, is to cut 106 jobs (out of 3,861 employees). In July 2009 the company announced a reorganisational plan in order to reduce costs. According to the company, this reduction is due to the negative effects of current economic crisis on the publishing market.
The Mondadori Group has more than fifty subsidiary and associated companies, and covers the whole range of publishing activities.
