European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 13 August 2009, cable manufacturer Draka announced it will scrap another 170 jobs, on top of the 1700 or 1800 that were scrapped over the past year. It is not yet clear where the jobs will be lost. Draka operates in thirty countries worldwide.
