Description

CBC Invest, the new owner of a traditional Czech glass production site in Nový Bor, is to restore up to 500 jobs out of about 900, which were lost due to the closure of the site in January 2009 (see fact sheet No 12392). The unemployment rate in the city has reached 19 percent since the closure of the plant. Employment is to begin in October 2009.
