Description

Nouvelle République du Centre-Ouest (NRCO), a newspaper publisher, has announced that NRCO is to cut 181 jobs mainly in its regional newspapers.

In September, NRCO is to cut jobs to cope with the economic and financial crisis.

Staff representatives will appeal the decision, while the management plans to pursue the procedure as of early September.

On 1 September, a strike started by NRCO employees.
