The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Czech airline company ČSA has announced its intention to cut up to 860 jobs out of 4,600 due to a sharp decline in the number of passengers. The job losses will occur in the period of September 2009 and March 2010. The financial loss is estimated to 1.3 billion CZK in the first quarter of 2009.
