Description
On 23 July 2009, the cash transport firm Securlog confirmed plans to cut another 100 jobs by the end of 2009. The company executive Lothar Thoma told the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that around 500 jobs had already been cut in recent months and the number of employees has fallen to 3,300. The job cuts have been aimed at reducing surplus capacities after the merger with DBI two years ago. Personnel costs are to be reduced from 65 to 60%.
