European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Z-group, a Czech producer of iron and steel, is to cut a further 53 jobs by the end of July 2009 due to a sharp decline in customer orders. Since the beginning of 2009, the company has already made 364 employees redundant. Z-group operates at 4 plants and before restructuring employed over 1,100 people.
