Description
The Alstom Power metallurgical company has built a new cast iron foundry at its production facility in Elbląg. Activation of this new production line will entail hiring 170 new workers by late 2009. Cast elements produced by Alstom Power are used in turbines in Poland and around the world. Alstom Power's Polish workforce numbers a total of 3,000 persons at production facilities in Elbląg and Wrocław, at Alstom Power Contraction in Warsaw, and Alstom Konstal in Chorzów.
