Description

SCA, a Swedish producer of packaging, hygiene and paper products, has given redundancy notice to 2,200 employees across Europe. The redundancies will affect Sweden (120 jobs), France in Orléans (44 jobs) and Italy (128 permanent jobs) with the closure of the site in Pratovecchio.

SCA has approximately 52,000 employees in 60 countries; 16,000 based at its European packaging operations.
