Description
Dometic, a manufacturer and supplier of air-conditioners, will dismiss 200 employees with the closure of its plant in Motala, Sweden, due to a lack of demand. All 200 employees (150 blue collar workers and 50 white collar workers) are given notice. Production will move to the USA.
Dometic is part of Dometic group which manufactures and supplies equipment for the service and maintenance of built-in air conditioners. Dometic Group also provides refrigerators for hotel rooms, offices, transport, medical use, and wine storage.
