Hästens Sängar, a manufacturer of beds, has given notice to 65 employees in Köping, Sweden. The company negotiated with the trade union on whether to use temporary lay-offs as a solution instead of redundancies, but the trade union did not accept the offer.
Hästens, which was founded in 1852, is Sweden's oldest manufacturer of beds. Hästens is currently established in 25 countries.
