European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Villeroy & Boch Gustavsberg, a bathroom retailer, has given notice to 220 employees at the Gustavsberg factory in Sweden. This is as a result of decreasing orders.
The Gustavsberg group has approximately 500 employees and a turnover of approximately 1,2 MSEK. The Gustavsberg Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of the German Villeroy & Boch AG Group and is thus part of one of the largest manufacturers of bathroom furnishing solutions in Europe.
