Description
In November 2008, the car parts supplier Key Plastics announced that 116 jobs would be lost with the closure of its plant in Voujeaucourt but has revised the figure to 66 after negotations with workers. The restructuring plan also affects the site in Rochefort, where another 139 jobs are to be lost (see factsheet 11954). The decision is blamed on the crisis hitting hard the automotive industry and a consequent slump in demand.
