Porcher Industries, a French technical textile manufacturer, has announced to cut 200 jobs. The cuts will affect all of the company's five sites (in Rhone-Alpes). The company's management claims that no plant will be closed. The cuts are blamed on a 50% year-on-year decrease in sales in Europe, which Porcher Industries faced over the last three months. The group plans to cut down costs and keep its debt at its current level of EUR 37 million.
