Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

On 19 May 2009, Nike, a footwear manufacturer, announced that 240 jobs (out of 1,700) will be cut at its European Headquarters in Hilversum. The job losses are part of a large restruturing plan resulting in the loss of 5% out of 35,000 jobs worldwide.
