Description
The Swedish based furniture concern, Ikea, is to open a new department in Odense, Fuen. In this connection Ikea will need 180 employees covering all jobs - cashiers, storage workers, middle-level managers and top managers. On 24 April Ikea opened a so-called 'job fair' for all interested in cooperation with the unemployment fund ASE. At the end of May 85 persons had been employed. many middle-level managers are still needed. The employees will start working on 1 October, or a month before the new department will open in Odense.
