Hewlett Packard (HP), one of the world leaders in technology industry, is to cut 6,400 jobs by May 2010. According to the company, the cost-saving plan is mainly due to the economic crisis and to the uncertainty regarding the future. HP has around 320,000 employees in more than 170 countries around the world.
