Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

ŽDB Group, a Czech metallurgical company has announced to cut 500 out of 2,500 jobs by the end of September 2009 due to a sharp fall in customer orders. The company has reported that about 500 jobs have been already lost since January 2009 as a consequence of the global crisis. Trade unions are ready to call a protest meeting against further dismissals.
