European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 16 April 2009 Corus (steel) announced it will scrap 800 jobs in the Netherlands before the end of 2010. The unions expressed dissatisfaction, especially because Corus admitted it will face labour shartages (around 1800 employees) in 2011.
