European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Banking group Intesa SanPaolo is to create 1,200 new jobs by the end of 2009. The company is to hire people aged under 30 for its commercial division. The new workers will be employed on either a four-year 'professional apprenticeship' contract or eighteen-month 'work entry' contract. Intesa San Paolo has around 73,000 employees in Italy and 108,310 worldwide.
