European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Linde Group, a world leading gases and engineering company with almost 52,000 employees working in around 100 countries worldwide, has announced 3,000 job losses worldwide due to a drop in sales of 7.6 % in the 1st quarter of 2009. There is no further information on where the job losses will occur and when they will be implemented by. Negotiations with the works council have not yet started.
