European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
OKD Rekultivace, a Czech company specializing in recultivation of landscape, has announced that it is to cut 140 jobs out of 400 due to the global economic crisis. Redundant workers will be given a compensation amounting up 11 average monthly wages and the most affected people at the local labour market will receive additional financial support. As of April 2009, there is no information on when the jobs losses will be implemented by.
