European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Volkswagen management in Wolfsburg decided to produce new small family cars named as Up! and Space Up! in Volkswagen Slovakia plant in Bratislava. New investment amounting to 308 million Euro will create about 1,500 new jobs at the Bratislava plant by the end of 2010. New models will be produced in Bratislava under VW, Seat and Škoda brands.
Within the concept of production of small family cars, the Škoda Citigo car mass production started in Bratislava on 13 October 2011.
