Description
The multinational company Cadbury has announced the closure of its Trident chewing gum plant in Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) with the dismissal of all 170 workers. The group will shift the production from the Catalan factory to other plants in Europe, mainly Poland, but also France and Russia.
The multinational company has decided, however, to keep 100 jobs in commercial, financial and marketing-related functions in Barcelona so that the decision-making centre remains in Spain.
