Description
Ireland's semi-state Electricity Supply Board (ESB) company has announced the creation of up to 3,700 new jobs, in what constitutes a significant expansion of 'green jobs'. The ESB says the new posts will come from the development of new energy technologies. The company says it will develop new infrastructure such as smart metering and a system to allow for the recharging of electric cars.
