European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
AVX electronics, an American-owned firm, is to shut down its Paignton plant in Devon transfering operations to Chech Republic. The closure will affect 130 posts. As of 6 April 2009 there is no information on when the job losses will occur.
