Description
On 20 March 2009 Villeroy & Boch, a ceramics producer, announced to cut 400 jobs in Germany by the end of the year. The job cuts will affect the administrative and production departments. The cuts are blamed on the massive decline in orders during 2008 and at the beginning of 2009. At the moment Villeroy & Boch employs 2,800 employees in Germany.
