Description
Škoda Auto, a Czech car maker, is planning to hire up 1,000 new temporary workers and to launch working Saturdays. The situation in the Czech car industry has improved after some neighbouring countries (Slovakia, Germany) have introduced a car scrappage incentive scheme. The firm currently employs approximately 27,600 people (600 agency workers included).
