European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Recycling company Van Gansewinkel announced that it will cut 300 jobs, for the major part temporary employment. The background is a major drop in the supply of industrial waste of some 5%. Moreover, recycling as such has become less profitable due to the drop in metal prices.
