European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 25 March 2009, Stankiewicz announced it would cut 335 out of 1,300 jobs. The company produces acoustic devices for the automobile industry. Job cuts are part of the restructuring programme in place after the company filed for insolvency at the end of 2008. The insolvency practitioner stated that job cuts were necessary due the severe slump in sales.
