European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bodycote, a company that specialises in the treatment of car and aeroplane components, is to cut ten percent of its staff at its site in Macclesfield. The company, which employs 7000 people at the site, has experienced reduced demand. The jobs will be cut in the first half of 2009.
