European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Wolseley plumbing and building supplies group has announced 180 redundancies in various locations across Ireland. The redundancies will entail the closure of four Wolseley stores around Ireland. Wolseley has attributed the job losses to the serious downturn that has hit Ireland's construction industry and a big reduction in new house builds.
