European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Light alloy wheel manufacturer BBS International was taken over by the Belgian group Punch International NV in 2007 following BBS' application for insolvency in February 2007. In 2008, Punch International reduced the workforce by about one fourth (from 600 to 450). On 20 Febuary 2009, Punch Group has stated that due to a decrease in sales 150 out of 450 jobs will be cut in 2009.
