Description
BMW, a carmaker, has announced that it has to cut 850 jobs at its Mini plant in Cowley in Oxfordshire. The plant, which employs 4,500 people, had already made job cuts in December, but because of falling demand for cars the company has deemed it necessary to make further cuts. The jobs have been cut with immediate effect.
