Description

Clariant, a Swiss producer of chemicals and a supplier to the automotive sector, is to cut 1,000 job in 2009 in Switzerland (150), Germany (200) and the UK (300). This increases the number of planned job cuts from 2,200 (as announced in 2006) to 3,200. There is no information on where the remainder of the job losses will occur.
