The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cambridge University Press, a publisher, is to cut 150 jobs. The publisher has stated that it needs to reduce its current workforce of 170 people in order to keep the business viable as a going concern. As of 15 February 2009, no announcement has been made as to when these job losses will occur.
