European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Subway, a chain of sandwich shops, is to create 7,000 jobs across the UK and Ireland. The chain is currently planning to add a further 600 stores to the 1400 stores it currently operates in the UK. It is not known how many of these stores are in the UK, and how many of the 7,000 planned new jobs across the UK and Ireland will be in the UK. As of 15 February 2009 it is not known when these new stores will be opened.
