European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Livar is a foundry located in Ivančna Gorica near Ljubljana. The company is due to cut its workforce by 90 employees before the end of 2009. In November 2008, the company employed 690 employees but since then orders from customers have drastically reduced and as a result the number of employees has been already reduced by 55 workers and it is expected that that these job cuts will continue.
