Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) department is to create 370 new jobs in Cumbria. The HMRC opened a new call centre which will be fully operational by the end of March 2009. 250 staff have already been employed, while a further 120 are being trained at the centre.
