European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
SGL, a German manufacturer of carbon and graphite products, is to cut 90 jobs in Scotland. The cuts were blamed on the current market conditions affected by the global economic turmoil. As of 6 February 2009 there is no further information on when the job losses will occur.
