European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
OP Prostějov Profashion, a Czech clothing manufacturer, is to cut approximately 190 jobs out of 2,000 at its Prostějov site by the end of February 2009 due to the global economic crisis. According to CEO, the workforce reduction will continue over the next 6 months in order to maintain position in the market. However, no precise information is available on additional job losses.
