Dow Chemical, which manufactures chemicals and chemial products, has announced that it is to cut 200 jobs from its plant in Terneuzen, from a total of 2100 jobs. In recent months, 200 to 400 temporary jobs have already been cut. In this case, forced dismissals have not been ruled out. The restructuring in Terneuzen is part of a worldwide restructuring for the company, resulting in an overall loss of 5000 jobs.
