Description

Trellborg Sealing Solutions Malta, a manufacturing company in the chemical sector which produces industrial 'O' rings, will cut 102 jobs due to the global economic downturn. This amounts to nearly one sixth of its current workforce. Smaller job cuts have occured over the past years.

Since October 2008 the company has been working on a four-day week in order to reduce its expenses following a reduction in its orders, especially for the car industry, which has been affected by this crisis.
