Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Copenhagen-based biotechnology company Genmab dismisses 101 employees as a result of a portfolio review and assessment of the organisation. This was announced in a Stock Exchange release on 8 October 2008. Genmab is a international biotechnology company focused on developing fully human antibody therapeutics for medical needs. Information on the number employed at the company was not given in the announcement.
