Description
Thames Water, a large UK water company, is to cut 300 jobs. The cuts were blamed on the recession and the company reported revenue losses. The company claimed that the cuts would save the business £7m, but the unions called for more convincing evidence that there is an economic case for the restructuring. As of 28 January 2009 there is no information on when the jobs losses will occur.
