Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Vodafone, the UK-based mobile communications service provider, is to set up a HUF 500 million regional customer service centre in Miskolc (North-east Hungary) as of May 2009. The centre is expected to employ approximately 300 employees when operation is at full capacity in one and a half or two years. Vodafone expects total staff numbers in Hungary to reach 2,000 yet this year.
