Description

Getrag, a German manufacturer of gars, is to cut 215 jobs at the Ludwigdsburg plant and another 130 jobs at the site Unterguppenbach. The management and the Metalworkers' Federation IG Metall recently announced the agreement on a restructuring plan that will save Gertag €27 million in costs. According to the agreement there will be no direct dismissals. Also, plans to close the plant at Ludwigsburg are stopped.
