As a consequence of a weakening market, Ahlsell group gave notice to a total of 500 employees, of which 300 work in Sweden. The remaining part, are mainly employees in Norway and Finland. The total number of employees in Sweden is approximately 2800. Those affected work at units in different parts of Sweden. In Hallsberg 80 employees have been dismissed. Ahlsell supplies goods and associated services to professional users within the product areas of heating & plumbing, electrical, tools & machinery, con-struction as well as refrigeration. The Group has an annual turnover of approx. 2.5 billion Euro and some 5,300 employees.
